The Bowers Museum is a cultural landmark in Santa Ana, and a popular spot for weddings and bar/bat mitzvahs. The Tangata restaurant ("mankind" in the native tribal New Zealand Maori language) is operated by the Patina Group, who also have fine restaurants at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Art and the Hollywood Bowl. The restaurant has two patios and room for 400 to 800 people in the courtyard.
