Frequently Asked Questions
Our packages start at $1999, and include unlimited photography for the duration of the event. We typically tend to shoot from 1,000 to ,2,000 pictures during an event. The film era has come and gone, and we don't have to worry about conserving film. Digital affords us that kind of luxury to fill up 3 gigabytes worth of memory cards, to get multiple angles, candids, portraits and action shots. Unlike the traditional event photographer, we do not keep the negatives, nor charge for reprints. The digital negatives are yours to keep, on high-resolution DVDs. If you'd like us to recommend our favorite labs for printing, we'll be happy to route you. We have a host of local and online labs we love, at affordable prices.
We design compact coffee table photo albums, as well as traditional, luxury, flush-mounted leather albums from Art Leather.
Check out our video page for examples of our "through the years," montages and videos. The montages typically feature 100 photographs set to music of your choice. We like to open them with live action introductions from the subject, to get the audience chuckling and bring the pictures to life. Our full-length videos are edited, with music, montages, wipes and fades and all those other good things, and are delivered on DVD.
How about allt? We love to go off with the bride and groom after the ceremony and shoot a mixture of both candid and posed shots, pictures that capture the excitement and emotion of the day. At bar mitzvahs and weddings, we look for the memorable action shots (check out Horah or the weddings main page) , of people having a great time, the expected and un-expected. We also think there's nothing wrong with tradition. The classic portrait of the bride with her dad or bar mitzvah boy with grandparents proudly looking on will never go out of style.
We like to step out of the way and record the day quietly. We will put together people in poses, but we're not obnoxious about it.
Sure. We live at the beach, and love to bring our bride and grooms down to the sea for memorable, romantic photographs.
Bboth. We shoot digital, and it affords us the luxury of shooting in color and converting into black and white if the desire hits us. We love black and white for portraits. All of the black and whites on this website were filmed in digital and converted into black and white with Photoshop.
